2. Data We Collect

Account Information

• Email address (required for account creation)
• Name (optional)
• Password (stored as a secure hash — we never see your plaintext password)

Fitness & Health Data

• Workout sessions, exercises, sets, reps, and weights you log
• Personal records and leaderboard submissions
• Gym check-ins and visit history
• Wearable device data (readiness, HRV, sleep, steps) — only if you connect a device
• Body weight, fitness goals, and experience level — only if you provide them

Media

• Photos and videos you upload (pump pics, form checks, lift verification)
• Stored securely in Cloudflare R2

Usage Data

• Login timestamps and frequency
• Features used within the app

Location

• Approximate location for gym finder — only when you use that feature
• Gym names and cities you check into

3. How We Use Your Data

• Provide and improve the Repetitions.ai service
• Power your AI coach with personalised recommendations
• Display leaderboards, badges, and community features
• Send transactional emails (account verification, friend requests)
• Analyse anonymous usage trends to improve the app

We never sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the platform:

• Cloudflare — hosting, database (D1), media storage (R2), AI inference
• Resend — transactional emails
• Oura / wearable providers — only when you connect your device
• Stripe — payment processing (when applicable)

Your public profile, posts, and leaderboard submissions are visible to other users of the platform by design. You control what you share.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. Deleted content is soft-deleted (hidden) immediately and permanently purged after 7 days. You can request full account deletion at any time.

6. Your Rights

• Access — request a copy of your data
• Correction — update inaccurate information
• Deletion — delete your account and all associated data
• Portability — export your workout history
• Opt-out — unsubscribe from emails at any time

7. Children

Repetitions.ai is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and secure cloud infrastructure. No system is 100% secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
